At Camp

Camp is one of my favorite places in the world. It is a special place where I get to spend 11 weeks with my second family. I can't wait to share more pictures!

Baby Brodie

On Sunday I was supposed to be taking photos for my photojournalism class, but Brodie was too cute not to snap a couple of him!

Because it's been awhile

Yes, I know. I'm a huge slacker. But school and work have kept me extremely busy and I have hardly taken any photos with my digital camera. On the other hand, if I ever get near a scanner, I will scan in some of my film prints.
New and exciting things are happening in my life. I am now, officially, an art major. This is both exciting and scary! If you know me well then you know I am horrible at most artforms including drawing and painting. On June 28, one of my friends, Carla, is getting married and asked me to be her photographer. It is such an honor and I am sooo excited!
Ok, enough about me and why I'm a slacker. Here are just a few pictures for you.
Downtown by Picasso's. I love the lens flare.
Dave Barnes (again). He is coming to ETSU on Friday so you will get to see EVEN MORE of him.

My baby brother, Tucker. So cute.

Pretty Mommy.

Tim, my nine-year-old brother, who is beautiful.

V-day

I guess I should go ahead and post about Valentine's Day since that seems to be the popular thing to do. My V-day will consist of reading my Bible, cleaning my room, going to photography class, and a basketball game and you know what? I couldn't be more pleased. This is the first year since I can remember that I am ok with being single. God has me right where he wants me right now and I'm so happy with that!

Go Bucs!

Time

I so wish that I had time to do some shooting right now, and blogging! My schedule has been extremely hectic with work, school, church, etc. I'm taking night shots this week in photojournalism class so maybe, if they're good (which I don't expect them to be since our teacher won't let us use a tripod) I might post them.

Siblings - Daniel and Patricia

I did a sibling session with my friends, Daniel and Patricia, just before Christmas. They gave them to their mom as a Christmas present! It was so fun. Here are some of my favorites.

She is so friggin' cute!

Favorites of 2007 - Music

These pictures are a collection of my favorites from the concerts that I went to in 2007.
Gabe Dixon Band Version One?

Or Version Two? Which do you like better?

Dave Barnes - You should absolutely go to one of his concerts. Not only are his music and lyrics amazing, this man is hilarious! He will have you rolling in the floor laughing. (http://www.davebarnes.com/ or http://www.myspace.com/DaveBarnes OR YouTube "TheDaveBarnes")

Matt and Dave talking about the Mocha Club. If you want information about the Mocha Club visit http://www.mochaclub.org/ and if you are interested in joining email me (toriclements@yahoo.com). If you sign up through me you get an awesome t-shirt and CD (not to mention that I get a t-shirt after having four of my friends join).

These guys did a portion of the show unplugged. They stepped out from behind the michrophones and unplugged their guitars for quite a few songs. The whole audience fell silent. It was magical.

Dave and Gabe Dixon

Dave and his boyish grin.

Their guitar player whose name escapes me. (Sorry, he was really good though!)

Celine Dion move. Trying to hit the high notes. "Something's going ON!"

Derek Webb concert at Celebration Church. The whole set was acoustic, no band. It was great. I would venture to say that Derek sounds better live than on CD (and that is amazing!).
